Once I discovered the Internet in 1988 while working on a doctorate programme at York University, I spent the next seven years learning everything I could about the Internet and computers in general. It wasn't until 1994-5 that I actually started working as a computer consultant with a special interest in developing databases and websites to enhance the productivity and marketability of the small and medium sized business.

Since then I have worked for a lot of different companies in a wide variety of industries. In a majority of the cases, the company was not computerized at all, or was way behind in terms of equipment and software. In the process, I have become quite adept at starting from scratch and not only making the business more efficient and competitive, but capable of taking advantage of a technology that has revolutionized the way we do business.

While I have helped to sell a variety of products like desk pads, office accessories, wayfinding or signage products, window blinds and shutters, anti-shoplifting devices, plumbing supplies, and lastic hdpe pipe, I am more familiar with the plastics and process industries. I have extensive experience with writing original content for process equipment like chillers, heat exchangers, steam traps, and bulk material handling equipment from granulators to dryers and blenders.
